Grasslands Management

A guidebook for managing sandplain grassland was developed using interviews from over thirty land managers and researchers throughout the region, as well as a literature review. This document provides guidance for maintaining existing grassland and managing for new grassland using tools such as prescribed fire, grazing, mowing and herbicide. This document is organized into six main chapters designed to help managers find and use information that helps them to sustain sandplain grasslands and their biodiversity.
